warnings aren't threats. things have felt unstable for months now, with conditions in the middle east the way they've been. computer malfunctions aren't warnings or threats. todd, you've been having troubles with that thing for a long time. threats are threats. whether yelled in your face or posted in a chat room. but, disagreeing with an opinion is not a threat. threats say, "i'm/we're gonna (fill in the blank) you (or someone/something you love)." i've seen a degree (and heard about more) of less tolerance for other people's opinions, which concerns me - after all, that's one of the things the terrorists wanted to smash, with the trade center.

don't let them win, by giving into the paranoia. it's out there - we all feel it. we are all touched by it, fighting it.

The candle lighting chain letter may be some sort of a worm or virus, we got it and Becky fowarded it to one person she knows, a couple of hours later we started getting dozens of replys that we were sending hate mail to people, we got a copy of the letter back and indeed a footnote had been added saying "We are the terrorist" and a complete list of all the addresses in our e-mail list including anyone who had ever e-mailed us.
