Todd, I heard a chilling report, on NPR....In order to make IMF/World Bank loan payments, 3rd world countries are "privatizing" their water utilities...literally selling the aquifers, under thier countries, to multi-national corporaions,These privatiization schemes are being "urged" as a condition of the IMF/World Bank loans!!
The "rights" to water, are being shifted to being a "privilige"

p.s Todd, just about anyone or anything in a public venue is legally filmable, under "public domain" protection..
If you "feature" anyone with visual & audio pickup, who isnt speaking or acting in a public forum, or, isnt a public figure, you probably need their written permisssion. A signed, standard release of info form, gives this.... Your local public access TV station will have these. They may well have specific public domain guidelines, as well

In my own little way I have made the world a better place today, wearing my best lawer hat, I discovered how to make a man who bought the family farm, allow an old lady to visit the family burial site, (not my family but still), the laws are hard to find but they do allow family members to visit grave sites no matter who buys the farm. a small victory for human rights but a victory none the less.
