The news said this morning's commute went well and without delays. I'd still check when it gets closer to the day, since the things change so fast, but maybe they've figured out how to do the checks without slowing things down too much. Or maybe they're not really doing the checks at all and just used the whole thing as an excuse to force people to carpool. You can't enter the city from anywhere below 63rd street in a car with less than two people in it. That could cut down on traffic a lot, I imagine.
