Yeah. What Todd said. And what he said about running the streets of NY too, even if it was in a whole other thread.

Sure sounds like a whole lot of fun!

i posted in the poetry thread, so iv'll refrain from repeating myself. a great time was had by all! i didn't get to talk with kitty after the show, as she went running by with gary, but she certainly appeared to enjoy her time on stage at carnegie. she sang her own song...arlo played along, but the symphony didn't. nice song, and kitty has a lovely voice. Ma was in attendance. i didn't see her after the show, but i know sherry did. sarah and abe joined arlo on stage towards the end of the gig...sarah wore the greatest dress i've ever seen! spent some time talking with sarah and johnny after the gig...such sweet kids.

Some things were a little different at Carnegie this year. There were new rules, for security, like bag checks, showing your ticket at the front door, Get Stuff couldn't set up til 8. On the other hand, the staff was almost...friendly. Definitely pleasant, at least. This is truly weird. Some of the regular rules didn't seem to be as strictly enforced, so there should be some pictures and stuff from the show.

Sherry gave out her homemade cookies in front of Carnegie as usual and it seemed to make people really happy this year. I mean, people always like them, but it really seemed to make people smile, that someone would do that for nothing. NY is definitely feeling different at the moment.
