I've not been here in a while. Hope all had wonderful holidays. But that is not what this thread is about. I know this forum tries to be all inclusive, and I try to understand myself better by learning what others think and why. So as I try to see what I missed, wow, was that tea flavored?

And to start with a comment about not being a loaded question, when every thing you post seems to be a loaded question, makes me wonder what this persons mind set/agenda is.

So too help my tiny brain understand please share...
(unless I'm wrongly overly critical, or you are a denier)

Step out of the shadows and share your views and philosophy clearly and openly.

Way party do you most closely align with?

Who are you backing in the presidential election?

What do you see this pres elect doing to speed recovery from our current situation?

If you'd rather snipe from the shadows than explain your views, well that is your choice.

Thankfully I/we can make a choice too.

Welcome back. At this point I'm for anything but Obama lol. I remember my late husband Mike saying he wouldn't even vote Obama in as dogcatcher lol. Mike and his jokey wit lol. Miss him

I will give it a shot!

What party do you most closely align with?
I don't. Historically I have not always voted Democratic but I can't recall voting Republican. Philosophically, I aspire to Libertarian but I do not believe any party or tea party out there is Libertarian at all.
Who are you backing in the presidential election?
?
What do you see this pres elect doing to speed recovery from our current situation?
I am more concerned about a long term well managed recovery than a short term fix. It seems obvious that the words capitalism, socialism, libertarianism and investment have many definitions based on the recent discussions that prompted you to write this.

This is Jafo's way of saying Cheryl's opinions don't matter. At least, that is the way it seems to me?

Ron Paul for his Foreign Policy. But wish he would talk about North Dakota's State Bank as part of the way out of the beast of the Fed.

"Jack Of All Trades"

I’ll mow your lawn
Clean the leaves out your drain
I’ll mend your roof to keep out the rain
I’ll take the work that God provides
I’m a Jack of all trades
Honey, we’ll be alright

I’ll hammer the nails
And I’ll set the stone
I’ll harvest your crops when they’re ripe and grown
I’ll pull that engine apart and patch her up
Until she’s running right
I’m a Jack of all trades
We’ll be alright

A hurricane blows
Brings a hard rain
When the blue sky breaks
Feels like the world’s gonna change
We’ll start caring for each other like Jesus said that we might
I’m a Jack of all trades
We’ll be alright

The banker man grows fatter
The working man grows thin
It’s all happened before and it’ll happen again
It’ll happen again
They’ll bet your life
I’m a Jack of all trades
We’ll be alright

Now sometimes tomorrow comes soaked in treasure and blood
Here we stood the drought
Now we’ll stand the flood
There’s a new world coming
I can see the light
I’m a Jack of all trades
We’ll be alright

So you use what you’ve got
And you learn to make do
You take the old, you make it new
If I had me a gun
I’d find the bastards and shoot ‘em on sight

I’m a Jack of all trades
We’ll be alright
I’m a Jack of all trades
We’ll be alright
