Hello everyone. My name is Jeremy, and I'm the engineer of Woody's Children on WFUV.
Just wanted to pass on a brief message about a wonderful tribute that Bob Sherman and I have planned for Harold Leventhal. It will air on Sunday night (12/4) at 7pm on 90.7 FM.
Thanks.

And a fine job you and Bob Sherman do! I met Bob at the WFUV booth at the Clearwater fest a couple of years ago......nice fella! By some cosmic coincedence, he was playing Sarah Lee's CD on his portbale CD player when I chatted with him. Hope I get to hear this upcoming program.

Thanks for the kind words, Larry.
And thanks for the reminder, Arlo...the film is opening December 9th at the Quad Cinema in the village.
We will mention it during the show on Sunday.

Thanks in advance for the mention. If we create enough of a stir we may see the film move beyond the limited NY showing! Now wouldn't THAT be a time?

So how does distribution of such films work anyway? I'll be at the Quad, but how does a film move into wider areas and what can I do about it? Who owns the rights to it? Is it a Rising Son or Woody Guthrie Archives effort? Somewhere I read the DVD will be released on the 18th of December. Does that mean my local shop will have it then? Can I get it via Get Stuff or the Archives? I need like 4 copies of it. Inquiring Blunderers want to know.
