Cheryl, it's really easy oyu just call the number it's 1 800 227 6277 and press five. After you do this just wait till the recording is done and say The Guthrie Center Housatonic. (at least that's what I've said, if I'm wrong someone feel free to correct me.)

I've voted 5 times today!

And I made my friend vote too, except she was like Arlo who? My poor friends, such a shame more teenageers don't know about him. I'll have to have her watch the movie, and hear the music.

I'm sure that saying "The Guthrie Center" would work. Cathy suggested the following:

It's easy....

The only thing you need to know is the name and the town that it's in. I called it "Arlo Guthrie's Trinity Church in Housatonic, MA"....

You are funny !!! I never even thought of the center being on a quarter
to me it is worth a MILLION DOLLARS *** I have to cancel lunch
tomorrow- snow coming and I don't want to risk the long drive back
to the Boston area. The Pike could be more dangerous than skiing
down Butternut slopes. See ya in a couple weeks~~ Lunch
and dessert....

Ok, I voted. But I couldn't help thinking how lucky we are that this is for a quarter and not a postage stamp. I mean we all remember the "32 cents" wait........don't we. :)

Ya know, I was thinking. If they put a presidents face on the front of a coin, why don't they put his ass on the back? But then I was thinking some more and figured if there was ever a George W. Bush coin issued, people would be flipping coins to start football games and stuff, and people would ask the coin flipper if it came up heads or tails, and the poor coin flippers would probably say " I can't tell". :?

AMEN brother, AMEN!!!

It's got my vote. First I heard of it and what cool idea.
Let me get this straight. So if you can call as many times as you want then if I call once a day for the next twnty-five days hmmm and everybody calls once a day for the next thenty-five days it might just turn into a movement...What a great way to help the center. I like the idea Arlo. I will be sure to make the call(s) for my vote.

Well I went looking for more information and had found out that the voting is only until the 26th. So it looks like I am going to have to keep the phone on redial for the day.
Here is the link for those who are interested:

Well the website said that it was going to stop on the 26th but I just tried to call today to vote again and they are still taking calls. I will be sitting in the airport today waiting for my flight for a couple hours so I will be making use of my free time by voting some more.. Just want to keep up the momentum..This is one thing that I would really truly like to see happen.
