I saw Arlo at the Clarendon in Australia yesterday, wednesday 4th June 2008 (had the best seats in the universe - right in front of the stage).

He said the song is about "The little peaces, like a dog licking your face" and "If we could manage the little peace the big peace would take care of itself".

So its all the nice small things in life that make us smile, that make us feel 'peaceful'.
