This seemed to be as good a place as any for this one. Was thinking about this a while ago and wondered what any of you folks might offer. What's your favorite line from a song? I guess it's kind of like a favorite quote type of question. If you have one - or more - to share do so (and mention the song title and artist if you can).

Here's two to start off.

"twitchin' like a finger on the trigger on a gun" - My Little Town/Paul Simon

"There ain't nothin' wrong with this country a few plastic explosives won't cure" - I Blew Up the Clinic Real Good/Steve Taylor

Thought of another one:

"There ain't nothin' made here in this country anymore. It's either made in Japan, Hong Kong or Singapore" - Made In Japan/John Entwistle

Muey Bien (sp?) all. Good stuff.

"I dreamed I saw the bomber death planes riding shotgun in the sky turning into butterflies above the nation." Woodstock/Joni Mitchell (probably misquoted it though)

In the strength and the spirit that’s drawn up from this native soil
You still see it shine in the faces of people who toil
for a dream that slips away a little more each day

America’s waiting...John Flynn

If someday we realize that God still speaks to us all
In our hearts not just through words that long dead prophets scrawled
Perhaps we’ll add a new book to the holy bible called
New Orleans, New Orleans

Passunder (New Orleans)
(John Flynn)

8e sure to include this statement
Only the words of love kept alive
Are worthy of not being wasted
