Oz seems to be one-upping (and two- and three-upping) us politically these days; maybe their Godzilla is the smaller, food-efficient model.

By the way ........................ I think the Grape Peeler owes me some grapes! Especially since I had to fight off Godzilla to have the photos taken safely. (Except for when he sneaked into the group shot! You can see how close he got to the FolkSlinger before the boxing Kangaroos came to his rescue)

They do??? Do Do what Larry?

In fact they would be able to inflict terrible pain on Godz with that poisonous spike on their back leg.

Glad you all enjoyed the pics, it'll probably be awhile until it comes around again! Unless I win lotto or something so I can get to The Church sooner than later.

WOW!!!!! Thanks for posting the pics!!! Loved the group w bench with Godz. I wonder if our "clampoons" would protect us from such a mean nasty ugly lookin' critter?! Arlo was so gracious, chatting with us all and doing photos. What a beautiful soul.

Clampoons an effective weapon vs. Godzilla? I don't think so. Until somebody invents an effective Godzillapoon, I suppose if you were to dip the clampoon tips in vegemite............... :?

Louise, Shortly after being turned on to Arlo.net, the very first impression I got about the Group W Bench was from you! You had just learned that Arlo was coming to OZ, and announced this with great enthusiasm!!! That was just about one full year ago! I now can see, in the wideness of your smile, and the grip on his shoulder, your love and admiration for Arlo. I am so happy for you ... a year-long wait delivered! Thank you for sharing those great pictures.

(Ceashel, you are so clever!)

Well, MG the thing is, I grew up in Ore. so if I still lived there I might catch adg maybe once a year when he came west or maybe if I managed to go east, but since I now live half way 'round the world it is a rare treat when the Folkslinger manages to make his way (despite the fourteen hour flight and having to put up with runway sniffing guys and those little dogs in coats at the airport) all the way down here to visit us.That's why we all had big smiles on our faces. :D

Also (just between you and me, don't tell anyone) I am an agent, number 35 8), of the Blunderground and it is my sworn duty to protect The Folkslinger when he is in my area, that's why I had a protective grip on him. As you saw in the Group W photo, Godzilla nearly got his reptilian little claws on the Folkslinger. If not for davex7 throwing himself between Godz and the Slinger (in such a casual manner that the Slinger was spared from the frightening prospects of what could have happened) well, the ending is just too horrible to imagine!
Of course we also had word that The Giant Clam was lurking in the Brisbane River looking to get his rippled gums on either Godz or The Slinger! Luckily another member of the Brisbane Blunderite Trinity, BobbiB, had her Clampoon discreetly hidden under her coat of many colors, just in case!

Now you wouldn't even guess, by the photo's, that we were "on the job" would you? But we sure had a great time and we ARE fond of TheFolkslinger....isn't everyone here?
