With only slightly more notice than the folksinger had, Regina and I headed up to the church to catch Arlo subbing for a act that had to cancel with short notice. The Berks were beautiful as always. Freaky Joe was parking cars so we knew we had the right church. The concert was really good, just Arlo, no back-up of any kind. Did not know anyone in the crowd. It was odd not seeing any of the regulars.

Freight Train
Evangelina
Coming Into Los Angeles (new story-Jackie has it up on YouTube already)
Union Maid
Ladies Auxilliary
Pretty Boy Floyd
I Hear you Sing Again
When A Soldier Makes It Home
Cornbread And Peas
St. Louis Tickle
St. James Infirmary

Intermission

Motorcycle Song
Alice's Restaurant (adg played a bit of Alice while giving a bit of an oral history
of the church and The Guthrie Center)
Alabama Bound
Arlo tuned a bit and played a bit of If I Only Had A Brain
Highway In The Wind
Slow Boat
City Of New Orleans
Hymn
Deep Blue Sea
This Land Is Your Land
My Peace

It's been a while since I've seen Arlo solo. He was in good voice and seemed to be enjoying himself so it just made for a really nice evening. Still am missing the fall gigs though.

Sounds similar to the show Friday night, except no Wizard of Oz tunes. It was such a gift to be there! I won't be posting any pictures on Facebook this time--we were sitting near the back, and I decided to just sit and enjoy the show. :)
