We saw Arlo and Judy Collins in Kentucky Friday night December 2. They did their excellent respective shows, and then they did City of New Orleans and Amazing Grace together. My eyes were watering. Arlo told a joke about the constitution's pre-amble--he called it the pre-ramble--mentioning forming a perfect "union." I think that while the rest of us laughed, two people in front of us were offended by the subtle and funny reference to Glen Beck. They looked at each other and scoffed. They left shortly thereafter. That was pretty amusing.
