He did BALLAD OF THE GREEN BERETS? WOW! I didn't know he knew that one! It was an old country pop song from the mid 60's done by a real Green Beret Sgt Barry Sadler. I've seen the Sgt do it on tv before. Mike has the album of it. I would love to hear Arlo do that one at the Keswick! Please ADG? Here's a a neat idea hon! Do it at Richmond with the Symphony! I bet that would be awesome! ImageImage

It was just soundcheck, Cheryl. Anything can happen there. Don't get your hopes up. Maybe I imagined the whole thing. Stranger things have happened......but not much!

I got kicked out of a sound check once....(some enthuseastic college friends snuck a few of us in early)...Mostly they were just making sure everything worked....(or was plugged in).....Guthrie said "Who let them in? Get those people outta here!" . . .Image
*I remember leaving my leather jacket on the back of my seat, fearing I'd loose my kick-ass seat...Front row center is good, but I recommend 4 or 5 rows back...Better accoustics.....

edited for bad spelling..................
