Wonderful show, Sarah's terrific! Her voice has gotten stronger, she's more self-assured. Cheryl was there, so I won't go into wardrobe, sock report.... it's almost 1 AM, am exhausted, long ride home, ran into a few professors from my college at the concert tonight! Had a great time.

Terrie

Keswick was an incredible show. Arlo handled current events like no one other than he can do. Eloquent. Ram Dash has this thing were he says you know, "I have been giving the same lecture for 30 years and it sounds different and fresh every night. Something must be happening because the audiences keep getting bigger and bigger." That is my comment on the set list last night. It doesn't matter what songs Arlo and the band play, they always sound new and fresh. I've given up on a wish list along time ago. I am happier for it. As far as the band goes, I've been watching this thing grow for several years now, from kids to professional musicans. I have been blessed to go for the ride and to be able to watch them develop. I have only one word that I can say for the band, "tight." Thanks a lot and I hope to see you all in the spring. God bless, Namaste', or sincerely yours, Anthony.

A wonderful show, felt like we were sitting in a very large living room with friends. Looked like the whole group on stage was enjoying themselve with private jokes, judging from how many times the Xavier guys had to turn away from the audience. Personal highlights:
**Arlo & company played the instrumental piece he wrote in Hawaii - the bass counterpart just bounces you along; it is a very enjoyable ride.
**Arlo shared some new stories (well, at least they were new to me) about Woody's songs, the Copenhagen military base, and Hoyt Axton.
**Johnny RULED on guitar, played a regular electric instead of Dobro. He did a smashing rendition of Think Tank with Sarah. Gang, buy his album Unity Lodge, and then buy one for a friend. Heck, buy one for an enemy and make them a friend.
**Saw John & Regina, and since John did not post before me, I wonder if they made the connecting train - hope so! <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/smile.gif" width=15 height=15>
**And finally, thanks Arlo for signing my Moose's tushy. (For those who don't know what I am talking about, the back of the Mooses Come Walking book has a cartoon of a moose's tushy, and it has been smiling at me since I bought it.)

Happy times and Joy and Peace to all.
CB & JB

Last Night I Had The Strangest Dream

Arlo has a new keyboard. Randy said this was the first time Xavier had done Put Out The Fire at an Arlo gig. It was awesome, they can do it at every gig as far as I'm concerned. Same for Johnny and Sarah on Think Tank. The sound guy did a great job, nice mix and loud. Arlo told the story about his dad teaching him verses to This Land that were not in the "school book version" and then forgot to sing any of them. The staff at the Keswick was actually nice...No herding everyone out the doors two seconds after the show was over like previous years. Arlo sat on the edge of the stage and greeted everyone that cared to say hello. Had a wonderful night...on to Carnegie and Ths Bottom Line...See you there?
