wow! you are not yanking my chain are you? (the first i have heard of that)

the pizza i got, had a thin crust, some pretty decent sauce, not an overwhelming amount of cheese, GARLIC (i love garlic), artichoke, tomato rounds, capers, fresh basil pieces once out of the oven....

i actually like salad a lot...i love veggies...not sure it could be considered diet though...i like olive oil!

the first time i went to a restaurant and they served up olive oil with cracked pepper in a dish and warm bread...i thought i was in heaven! though i am not always overly fond of bread...not sure why...once i picked apart a sammich so badly it looked like a raccoon got a holt of it...or like someone threw a firecracker at it...could be it was swimming in dressing or something...i forget.

can you tell it is time for me to fix some dinner?

later

We had pizza delivered last night. They didn't get the order right, but it was still good.

We've got a new place in Woodville (Where I live), just a itty bitty wide spot on the 2-lane black-top on the way south from Tallahassee to the coast.....anyway, you go over there or call 'em up and order a pizza however you want it, and they've got all kinds of fresh, locally grown fruits and veggies, and locally obtained meats, even stuff like venison, smoked wild hog, wild turkey, gator, turtle, fresh seafood (ever tried an oyster, scallop, grouper or red snapper pizza?) plus the usual kinds of pizza toppings.....they make their crusts from scratch, and have dozens of different cheeses.....so anyhow, they make it up and do everything----except cook it! I call 'em up, turn the oven to preheat, and by the time I get home it's ready to slide in and cook (about 20-25 min). Real nice folks run the place, and I'm tellin' you it's a pizza that can't be beat!!! 14 bucks for a large one that'll feed at least 4 regular blunderite-type folks........ :D

Agnes that pizza sounds wonderful! I don't know about salad in the middle, wouldn't it get all soggy?

I had pizza with Bar-B-Q chicken on it not long ago, something about chicken on pizza that just didn't seem right to me. It tasted o.k. though.

not yanking anybody's chain!!!

diet as in salad with no oil/dressing so pretty healthy.

i'm vegetarian so eat a lot of vegetables but i do also love olive oil a lot + bread + mayonnaise + cheese = so not really that healthy at all. but tasty tasty very very tasty. in fact i could probably live off nice bread and cheese and nothing else if i didn't have little ones to try and be a good example to...

I love Pizza Express, I wish they were here in Canada. I was in York with my brother and a friend and it was great. Of corse York is my most favorite place in Yorkshire.

galwaygirl, have you tried one of them diet pizzas? it has my curiousity up!

as for a healthy diet...i think you actually need some fat in your diet (?), just that some fats are considered better than others, and greeneyes, it just so happens olive oil is considered one of the good ones...yay us!!!

NK, some pretty exotic toppings there! the homegrown kind of thing sounds pretty good though...sounds like a cool place! but i swear there is a turtle sitting right here next to me and he is saying, "you won't like a turtle pizza! it will taste just like a swamp! you won't want it! here is some lettuce for a real good pizza!!"
really! he is sitting right here and that is what he said!

cheryl, it wasn't half bad!

hey! i think i overheard goofus say he is making pizza at home tonight...
everybody, dinner's over at goofus'!!

as for the movies...it is the first i have heard of the first one and the third one listed, but i have heard of the wicker man but have never seen it! i wouldn't mind checking that one out (have been a tad curious about it)! (the original 1973 version of course) i didn't even know there was another one!

It just hit me. I saw something on on tv some yrs ago about Arlo supporting this lady he knew in either FL or Hawaii who was saving turtles. It was on some kinda news program and was interesting. Guess Arlo likes turtles too...

Wouldn't the clams complain about that?

I just can't sit through scary or gory movies... I've tried many times, but just can't do it. So maybe I'll come next time. :)

hmmm, an eaten up clam can't be bad but do we really want to have to deal with 6 foot turtles?? a clampoon would just not do the trick....plus it would be against my beliefs...
