Hi, just wanted to let you know that Risingsonrecords website can't be visited by people like me that use MSNTV2 service. There is way too much flash for the service. MSNTV2 is the old WebTv bought out and upgraded by MSN. MSNTV2 has about 250,000 subscribers.

I have used this service for about 10 years and love it. I have no use for a computer, a lot of people my age feel the same.

Just thought you might want to know abot this problem with RisingSonRecords.com. They are loosing out on selling things to me (us).
Peace,
Jim

Thanks for pointing that out. Please know that the RisingSonRecords site is a separately managed and maintained site. But mentioning the problem here might get filtered through to the RSR site by adg or some others... I'm not sure they can or will do much to correct the issue, but it's good to have it as a known issue.

As to your statement about a lot of people your age feeling the same way about no use for a computer, that's a highly unlikely and unrealistic statement.
What does age have to do with your technical proficiency or capability?
All I know is, my 85 year old mom can use a computer, and understands the need for one in this day and age...

58; pencil and paper, and hand-coded html. Just depends on the message and the audience.

80 year old Mom uses one very well. Takes notes and follows them.

My Father in Law....10 years younger. Takes notes then never looks at them again. Has trouble locating his "desk page". Doing good on email though. When you tell him to click on something, he will ask : "Is that an actual button or just a picture of a button?"

He's a Pilot

Very good pilot though! :D

Actually, it was he who bought a commador 64 waaaaaaaaaaay back when. Was the first computer I had ever seen. (That's not saying much...I was still reeling from my first digital watch  )

Yeah. You can't go wrong with paper and pencil. I'm still wary of electric toaster ovens!

49 - computer is ok, IM conversations drive me nuts but not as much as text messaging. My daughter texts me. We have whole conversations that way. I would much rather dial the phone (or pick up my tin can :D )

My parents, 73 & 83, don't have or use a computer at home. My Mom, a bit at work but not much.

55...my 85 year old mother has no problem using a computer; she's great at e-mail and playing Bridge on an online site where you're playing with other people, and knows how to google any subject.

I think that's awesome!

Mine can check her bank stuff online, but to pick a subject or item and google it...she just doesn't get that for some reason. I even taught her to download pix from her digi cam, but searching just stumps her! :?
