I was at Carderock when one of my customers there told me they had a crazy guy working for them that built a web page for Arlo Guthrie. That was meant to impress me. :)

That was back when I was in Full Scale Trials... we were the party code of Carderock back then I think. Ah, the days of the chirstmas parties with the kegs (in the office), running "crack" on the oasys system and getting about 75% of everyone on base's passwords (including the captain), and shutting down Navsea's network for about an hour (kinda by accident). Those were the days....

I dunno Dave. I ain't really even looked at it yet, but speaking for myself and perhaps other old people, I don't do change well! :D
(except perhaps with recent presidents)

Good times, Dave.

The web is, as architectures go, a bit of a botch. Gold rush fever, minimal victories, the myth of consensus.

And actually the forums were here in 1998, they were just unthreaded and I think the threaded type like we have now came in 1999. Pretty cool to have the boards on here. We appreciate all your hard work here. :)

Speaking of want lists: on the mark all boards read thing is it possible to have it on the new template where it is like it is on this template the old one, where it says Mark forums read on the top of the page & you click on that to make them read? Having to access it thru a drop down music is alot of trouble & confusing. Thanks!

It's very blue--my favorite color. The new skin evokes the 60s but also is new and fresh--the way I think of Arlo and arlo.net. The current one, not so much.

Also, as long as you're making changes...something I've REALLY missed is the directory of users, with an alpha index at the top.

In case you missed it... Click "Members" in the very top bar... and then you can select "Username begins with". It's in there! :)

You can also click on "Find a Member" while in there as well.
