Since some people have started to share things on FB - there is now a proper way to do so. When you are viewing a topic there is a section towards the top on the right hand side labeled "Topic Options". Pull that down and the last item in the list is labeled "Share topic". Select this to share the topic on Facebook properly.

The only thing it seems to do is share the whole topic. What I want to share is the post, or the link in the post. Can you do that?

Edited to say: The post I wanted to share was in a topic that is on it's seventeenth page.
