Would it be possible to have links open to a new window/tab? Sometimes when you click a link in a post you lose the forum page and have to find it again.

Just a suggestion. :)

Try doing right click then the open in new tab thing. That works for me. Good luck.

I do that when I remember to, but on most forums, when you click an external link, it pops up in a new window. So out of habit I just click the link normally.

Yeah, that bothered me at first when phpbb went that direction - I believe they stated it was in order to get the HTML/CSS to properly validate. So I've gotten in the habit of just right clicking as well. If it does bother enough people though I will look in to altering the link behavior... So anyone who wants links in a new tab/window speak now.

It's discussed here:
http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... &t=2106432

And I am personally inclined to leave it as is - because 1) Blunderites don't like change, and 2) where links open should be a browser option selectable by the user rather than a forced option.

If I do change, I plan on using the Prime Links mod discussed here:

Ok, mod installed... I tend to agree... External links should open in a new tab or window.

Cool! Wonder how long it will take me to stop right clicking.

You can still right click if you'd like... :)
