I always thought of time as neutral. Just a name between two reference points. The reference points describe a change. Like between unhealed and healed. Unfucked and fucked. Unloved and loved. Fertilized and born. Born and matured. Matured and Aged. Aged and death. It is funny how some changes are reversible. You can be unloved then loved. Then you can be loved then unloved. You can be healed then unhealed. Then you can be healed again. Then only thing that separates the events is time. However, you can't be born and die and then be reborn. Well, not unless it is all just a state of mind.

Anyway, that brings it all back home!

You can be dressed then naked then

but we are born naked? I like sound of the word, you know, nekkid! don't it seem natural? I was thinkin about change when I started out. You know, change and dead roads and new paths. In the book of changes it says (well at least many interpretations) that creativity is masculine.it is the opposite of kun (i think i mentioned kun). xian and kum yin and yang do wah do wah. I said just yesterday, i will be creative and change my life! must have been cruising on a testosterone high?

always liked this song

"are you sure you want to trade one set of superstitions for another?"

well that was anti climactic

Not "Revelation"-tis that waits
but our unfurnished eyes

So can time exist independent of the mind? So since I am not superstitious, the question becomes is there a mystical time free of superstition, because (well in my mind) superstition breeds folly. So are there mystical moments out there that can be tapped that are free of the man made gods? I mean after all, I am a fundamentalist atheist for cryin' out loud. How many questions can fall together at one sitting? As I consider some of my favorite collections of words (words falling together at the hands of Bob Dylan, Walt Whitman, Emily Dickinson (the quote above) or even say Woody Guthrie or even the old old timers like Rumi and Jesus and Buddha and whoever wrote the Bhagavad Gita or even the Book of Changes), I have read or heard that these people just act as channels, conduits of the collective consciousness. So, could say somebody like Paul (the epistle writer not the Beatle) or the ecclesiastic or the psalm writer or those of other man made god cults have actually had some channeling moments that have value? Are mystic or mystical or spiritual necessarily bad words to an atheist? (I love it, because hard core close minded atheists can call me heathen and pagan, that is part of the dreams of this world we perceive in our minds) So, it seems I believe the mind exists independently of time.

Just some thoughts?

Or maybe we are what's necessary for music to exist?

i don't mind dreams...and some of that stuff (really, my repretoire is not really huge) but some of what i have read seems like it could have some (universal type?) value...but somehow think it all gets corrupted somewhere (as for some sort of religious guidelines?), and on top of it, when it all becomes dogma...it can get kind of icky (or at least weird, or at least strangely rigid in my opinion). but a different approach...well i am reluctant with the whole, it was all channeled through this one person(s) as lone channels thing.
but i like to wonder about things in general sometimes...i imagine a lot of people do?
but superstition sort of messes with my head...it kind of confuses me (sort of like religious dogma in general)

that is some of what i appreciated so much about some of the outrageous discussions we have had here. for me, they sort of helped break loose some of them sticky areas...outrageous.

i mean, religious rituals (or traditions?) for instance...or even the lack thereof...like say certain holidays (or observences) for some...i suppose they can be a source of enrichment for some...but the idea (if taken) that if you don't adhere to some rituals or traditions, or perhaps practice the "wrong ones" even though in and of themselves, they don't seem all that consequential in the scheme of things?,,,if you practice the wrong ones, or fail to observe certain ones...
to be rated as a human being on the basis of that somehow?

but i mean, someone was talking to me just the other day saying something about a solstice and something he does, a gathering of sorts (sorry for the lack of crisp detail) something about a crystal and a rainbow and a cross effect...well i don't know, i thought that would be pretty interesting to see! kind of like that giant compass effect i saw in the sky that day (at least that is what i thought of) which i think they said was due to ice crystals in the atmosphere or something (and not jack daniels...larry!!!) :)
i suppose it is kind of cool to connect with other humans and with nature on various levels? does that make me a pagan?

i guess that was all over the place...just some thoughts too?

Did you ever notice that those who channel that you really go wow, cool!... Did you ever notice, they can read (at least in the modern era). They can input all around them. They can hear about it, think about it, talk about it, consider it. The mind, the kingdom of heaven is within you! What is up with that? There must be a connection. I am not saying channeling comes from the cosmos...it is in the mind!

Humans, homosapiens, they do seem a little weird?
