Is there a way to take off the unread symbol on topics you don't care to read without clicking on them? Just wondering as it would save time when just perusing. Thanks

i'm afraid your only choices are to cherry pick what you wanna read, or mark ALL as Read.
I use the option to only view new posts since the last time i was here... and then i can choose to read the threads i'm interested in. Do that, and then when done, you can go and mark all threads Read.

Then again, how can you pass up any new posting, as that might be the one that gives you true enlightenment? (or a real headache!!)
