Maybe Arlo was sitting on a beautiful beach looking at the sunset and he suddenly noticed behind him, across the road was a sign on a resturant. It said The best Spaghetti in the world! All you can eat on Thrusday.

Low and behold! Right next to the resturant was a building with another sign which read, World Spa! We're the best Spa in the world! Half price on Thursday.

Hummmm, thinks Arlo. Spaghetti, Spa. I should write a song about that! As soon as I finish doing important things, like watching TV.

So maybe he did. Perhaps we should be alert for a new song! Or maybe he was fishing that evening, down stream from Bob Dylan.

Really? :? :)

I don't know. I've been having some deeper thoughts on the subject, and concluded the spaghetti/spa link has to do with string theory, also known as the theory of everything. This new theory is the latest thing in physics to explain everything. This theory suggests that subatomic particles like electrons are not really points, but a small loop in a string. Points can only move, where strings can oscilatte. So, if one were to view a particle that oscillates in one way, it appears as an electron, view the same particle with a different oscillation, and it may appear as a photon or a quark. This means that the universe is made of strings, and all made of the same stuff.
It has not escaped my attention that spaghetti is a string, which may mean that spaghetti is actually the fundamental building block of the universe, so it follows that you have to actually build a spa out of spaghetti.
Of course this means that spaghetti is also the fundamental building block for guitar strings, which is why we might suppose that Arlo just got hisself a carbon fiber guitar, spaghetti strings must be a bitch to tune, even on a carbon fiber guitar.....on a wooden guitar....forget it! I could go deeper, but I'm getting a headache. I'm quite sure that Arlo must have somehow figured there must be some kind of link between" spaghetti" and "spa" while tuning........it's the only logical explaination.

I'm sitting here feeling good about myself and with a high degree of satisfaction. I am confident that I have solved one of the great mysteries of the universe. I see no other theories that approach the logic of the one that I put forth, and I consider the debate closed. I know now what Einstein, Hawkings, Sagan and even George W. Bush must feel like or felt like. Of course only the first three guys on my list were actually right about stuff, but as George has taught us, if you think you are right........well, that's good enough.........or, if you know you are wrong and maintain that you are right, well..........that's good enough too.

Anyway, I'm preparing my next thesis, which will be on the related topic of " Sillystring theory".

There are strings in celery, too ... could it be that sillycelerytimestring theory is that '"theory of everything" the physicists keep whining about not finding?

I have long hair...I don't wear socks... I am a hippie freak weirdo... therefore... I understand sillycelerytimestringsuniverse theory! Go figure.
