There is no above in the cosmic sense, only in the eartbound sense.

And even on earth, everyone does not have the same "above".

When Louise in Oz points to the sky with her finger, she is pointing in the same direction that our feet are pointing.

So, the traditional "above" in the spiritual sense is really meaning from somewhere out there or perhaps from somewhere from within, but not "above".

The same concepts apply to "below" by the way..........

I think you are assuming that I was attempting to make sense? When one proceeds from assumption and delusion, one is often disappointed.
Besides, Ceashel ALWAYS makes sense!

My lessons are often based on the fuzzy logic thoery which states that if you almost make sense in an abstact fashion, people might think you have some sort of mystical insight, understanding or knowledge that they might find enlightening. Other people might just think to themselves " What the hell is all that bullshit that guy is spewing"? Either way, since it's not a competition, you win, even if you lose your marbles in the process.

It was autumn and the Indians on the reservation asked the new chief if it was going to be a cold winter. The chief had no idea and , so to be on the safe side, he advised the tribe to collect wood and prepare for a a cold winter. As a practical afterthougth he called the national weather service and asked whether they were forecasting a cold winter. The meteorologists replied that indeed, he thought the winter would be quite cold. The chief advised the tribe to stock even more wood.

A couple of weeks later, the chief checked in again with the Weather Service."Does it still look like a cold winter?" asked the chief.
"It sure does,"replied the meteorologist. "It looks like a very cold winter."
The cheif advised the tribe to gather up every scrap of wood they could find.
A couple of weeks later, the chief called the Weather Service again and asked how the winter was shaping up. The meteorologist said , "We're now forecasting that it will be the coldest winters on record!"
"Really?" asked the chief. "How can you be so sure?"
The meteorologists replied, "The Indians are collecting wood like crazy!"
