It's been pointed out that some folks don't like the header graphic... I did take the liberty of reversing it and it was blown up a bit from a smaller graphic. So, let's see what if anything you artistic folks (photographers included) have. If you've got an idea or want to design a new header graphic for the forums... go ahead and either e-mail me, or post an image and suggestion here.

As most of you know... my strength is in the programming and setting things up... I kinda lack in the artistic field... So, here's your chance to help design something that will be part of the site for some time to come. Give it a shot, post it here and see what folks (myself included) think.

These are your forums... and I wanna make as many people as happy as possible.

I like the header graphic. Since it is a painting that isn't done in a way supposed to look like a picture, I think the blurry look fits. But I haven't seen the church in real, so my perception isn't the same as for others who have been there in person.
Is it possible to have the header graphic changed once in a while or is it too much trouble. Like having the current Arlo tour poster, or old tour posters, or different paintings that have to do with Arlo and the church as header graphic?

I've always loved this painting. Just don't know why it was reversed. Love the autumn leaves... my favorite colors!

I flipped the image because it kinda looked better with Arlo on the right side and the forum/site name on the left. But as people are now pointing out - it does kinda look backwards if you know the church.

Maybe if you flip it back to the way the original was, and then switch the text to right justified, it would look better?

I like how you have it set up right now
I wish I had more pictures of Arlo and or the church I'd play around with some ideas. I like creating picture collages
here's an arlo one that I did for the fun of it the other day and Im currently using as a signature on another artists message boards

That is a neat wallpaper pic you did of Arlo. Love it! Love the new look the Wiz did. Easier on the eyes. Well Arlo is a good view anytime... :)

I like the one that is up now, but I liked the other one just a little better.
Selfish reasons mostly. I'm an Autumn girl. I wait and wait for Fall to roll around every year. The Texas heat made me that way.

The colors and the leaves and Arlo with a cuppa....just seemed so inviting and welcoming.

The one that's up there now is good. I love the hair...I'm all about the hair but to be honest, there is something about his right shoulder that keeps drawing my attention.

Know what the cannibal wife did when her husband came home late for dinner? She gave him the cold shoulder.

Maybe changing them now and then is a good idea.
I liked the one with the church a lot.
But this one, with Arlo fixin' to get a hickey,
is also a thing of beauty.
So much talent, so many great ideas.
How could you bear to pick just one?

I wondered if there was something like a sig rotator for headers. Sounds great but could be more trouble than it's worth, if there is such a thing.

I swear that sounds like sumpthin' ya do ta a car!

Had my hubby said that, the response would have been (after the clean up of course)...Your a funny, funny little man!

Bare in mind he's 6 foot something, so if that ever happens to slip out..please know that I don't mean little ...literally! 8)

That was great and timed perfectly! Never saw it comin' I was expecting some giant clams to be sent after me...even had the belaying pin at the ready. Hey...maybe I can use it to tap that shoulder bone back into place?

Okay...I'm just digging myself in deeper and deeper! :D I do really like the picture! It's beautiful...it's just that I have boney shoulders! I have seen pictures of Arlo....I don't believe one of his is. LoL
