Of course I was not doubting YOUR ability to understand the concepts in doubt. I was doubting the human race with understanding the concepts in doubt.

An old Chinese Poem

Feelings upon Awakening from Drunkenness on a Spring Day

Earthly life resembles big dream
Pointless slaving oneself
Hence drunken all day
Crouching, disheartened, at the front pillar
Stare before the courtyard upon awakening
A bird sings among the flowers
Ask: what season is this?
The nightingale speaks of Spring breezes
Moved, one desires to sigh
Facing the wine, pour for oneself
Singing loudly, awaiting the moon
Song ends, feelings forgotten

Later put to Music by an Old Austrian Jew

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cXAQJuEy ... re=related

Does Shim sing folk songs?

"If Life is a dream, why all this work and worry? I drink all day, till I can drink no more! Then I roll home and sleep. When I wake, a bird is singing, and I ask him if Spring has come. Yes! he replies, it came last night, and he sings and laughs, and I listen in wonder. And I fill my cup and drain it, and sing till the moon fills the night sky, and fall asleep again. What's the Spring to me? Just let me be drunk!"

There is a musicologist that tells me all the melodies in this bit of human extravaganze are jewish folk melodies crafted to be acceptable in even the best Viennese Halls of the early 20th Century. HMMM?

What care I said the fly?

One of the great things about this place is that you can throw strange and weird stuff out there and the stuff that comes back is even stranger and weirder.

Drums keep pounding rhythms to the brain
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMCd9Dyz ... re=related

I just look back and wonder
It seems somewhat a logical progression
The images
images, images
The images I make in my brain
Of the presentation of Shim
The possible evolutionary nemesis
For as I see Shim
It is a devolutionary concoction
The significant changes (emotions and dreams)
Have been neutered
Leaving us to have sex with
Some androgene form
Yet we are left with
Our senses
Are ability to taste colors
And sense our loss
Of the visceral

So I naturally revolt

Revolution

"But on a different level
it is a metaphor
for an exhausted era
cracking open"

If dreams were like lightening
thunder was desire
this house would have burnt down
along time ago

If I had ever been here before
I would prob'ly know just what to do

Don't you?

I never heard it before, or what rampions are. You are a wealth of wonderful knowledge Agnes!

(and now I know I can only embed 3 quotes. Didn't know I was embedding anything!)
