All life around you seems to be material but it is just different manifestations of energy...if the energy flow stopped...it would degenerate... if life ...all life...if life died...it would dry and burn...

Life is a manifestation of energy flowing

another rebellious moment from the 80's when I saw Dr. Eugene in the Basement Cafe in downtown Athens Georgia back in 89 with about 10 other people and he played the electric rake on my head, a solo I might add, right there on my head

how rebelious

Yeah, it was. Come in at 10 mins to 7 am & your folks are p'd off. So your mom tells your friends & Mike you gotta be in by 1 am. You usually end up staying out later than that cuz you are over 21 lol. A blind date in a cemetery in 83 changed my life forever. Love ya Mike!

I have always liked this song. I might have posted it before but you know how time fades away!

more of that poem, I have begun to like this poem by Ellyn Maybe

I ran through the store singing
About William Blake’s eyebrows
About Walt Whitman’s bellybutton
Saying everything is alive
And everything is sort of adorable
I took paperclips and gave them
To loving vegetarian families
Who needed some one

not finished yet, still reading... "for any interested in history" is a good way to put it...filled in some spaces i never knew existed! very interested in the story, have been since i first heard of roky's return after his having been away!
throughout the main story...the saga of roky erickson, pam and liz seemed to have their own little capsule stories (sidebars?) characters!

anyway...still reading!

I used to hang out in a place called Batsen Mountain Trading Co across from the Sonic there on 59th. I used to play this all the time (along with a bunch of other BS and even the first Pete and Arlo concert album when it was new).
