If you are using the updated version of Internet Explorer, it ditzes with the format. Select Tools on the Menu Bar and then select Compatibility View. That may do the trick.

Ok, the navigation should be back for all those who made the mistake of upgrading to IE 8. I found a way to force it to render as IE 7 without you having to do anything. To bad it's not as easy to have it force a popup with the text of "FUCK MICROSOFT - GET FIREFOX INSTEAD" (with a link to detailed instructions on how to download, install, and set it as the default browser for those less technically inclined.

Now, let me say it just one more time...

FUCK YOU MICROSOFT!!!!

LOL, appears I'm not alone... I've seen other webmasters complaining as well and talking about redirecting anyone using IE to Mozilla's website... :D

Microsoft has had a billion chances to get their browser right - and seem to always fail and cause us webmasters nothing but grief.

That's a good analogy. Political affilliations notwithstanding, maybe it will take the webmasters to ultimately get healthcare right......

It will be called "virtual healthcare"

Thanks to our Kurt I am not using IE anymore, but Mozilla Firefox. He suggested it to me quite some time ago. Since I am using that, I have no Viruses or Trojans in my Antivirus programm, once in a while I have to use IE and sure as h.... I'll catch me some nasty thingy.

Oh--and here's a tip for those trapped in cubicleland. Befriend your company's Web staff. Take them cookies; sit at the geek table at the company picnic. They hate IE, too, and even if the policy is that everyone uses IE, probably they don't, and they might be able to help you get Firefox on your company computer, too.
