Tried that as a kid. Mom kept waking me up. Tried that as an adult. Kids kept waking me up. Trying it as an old person. Dog keeps waking me up.

I'm gonna try it dead someday to see who comes to wake me up, where and why. :x

I'd buy that if I dreamed of getting a cup of coffee.

The dream world is a much more interesting reality........most of the time. Len, you may be able to influence your own dreams. Put some coffee grinds in your pillow, the aroma may make you dream about that cup of coffee.

I'm a fan of lucid dreaming and understand the technique. I'm just usually too sleepy to practice and too out of practice to sleep.

And where my dreams have been lately, I'd rather not go.

I tried lucid dreaming for awhile and never quite got the hang of it. I also tried remembering my dreams -- waking myself up and writing them down, etc. It "worked" for awhile, although I had difficulty reading my handwriting. But then one night I "woke up" within a dream and wrote it down in the dream, and then woke up for real and decided my dreams were getting to be too boring to bother waking up and writing them down.

I love this song, can't help with the noteation, but a few years ago Alan bought me a book. Can't remember for the life of me who took the photos, but each line from the song was displayed with a photo, it was such a good book.

I definitely agree MG. Everything from music theory to philosophy. It's a loosely connected collective imagination. It's one of the things I love about this place. (Besides The Folksinger...)
