Am I allowed to do this? The other one's locked and I was in the middle of having a stream of consciousness flowing from Bela and friends to:

Yeah, the wiz likes us to keep to a 15 page rule in these forums, so one of those pesky moderators(me) locked the other thread . :D

The Beatles doing Yesterday live. What is different about this version is there is no orchestra nor Paul doing it solo. It is all 4 with guitars.

happy st paddys day!

i thought this kind of funny (i guess) and so i will put it here

went to visit someone in the hospital and some time during the visit she all randomly says, "i want to go to the gulf stream", and someone says, "you want to go in an airplane?" and she is like, "not an airplane, stupid!" (that is not to sound mean, that is considered friendly speak) and i am like, "she means water" and she says, "yeah, water", then about twenty minutes later, she is all, "i want to go to the gulf stream waters." and right then i broke out singing with a relatively straight face,
"this land is your land, this land is my land
from california, to the new york island
from the red wood forests to the gulf stream waters
this land was made for you and me"
and she laughed! and said, "that is what i mean! that is where i want to go!"

hey don't look at me, i had nothing whatsoever to do with it!...that was all her!

I just found out Alex Chilton of the 60's group the Boxtops has passed on.

http://www.commercialappeal.com/news/20 ... lton-dies/

I know what his family is going thru as I lost my dear Mike March 3, 2009 from a heart attack. I noticed Alex Chilton was the same age Mike would've been if he had lived. I have The Letter on an album of tops hits somewhere. RIP...

I don't know if this includes talent, but it is strange. It about the annual vagina and penis festivals in Japan. They happen every spring!
I posted it on Face Book and it somehow devolved into some one's angry rant against health care reform. How? I don't know. I'll just blame it on Larry! Let's see what happens here!

that is the first i have heard of that one!

'course it does seem to fit somehow with a lot of other ideas about birds and bees and flowers and things associated with spring as that over there. (i guess i am making sense?)
(i have to admit though that it is a little odd to see sort of free range (?) erogenous zones like that) ?

but i have had those glutinous rice ball treat thingies they were talking about! (i know someone who makes them)

sounds like a curious discussion, but i am not on facebook so i don't know
