Well, we did our last gig in Ireland at The National Theatre in Dublin. Jess Klein was the support act for the entire Irish leg of the tour and had some wonderful friends join her onstage in Dublin. Jess was great fun traveling around - looking for actual veggies in a meat and potato country. Her songs were great and by the end of the two-week tour I was playing along backstage. We left her with friends to continue our journey.

The next day we traveled up the coast and grabbed a ferry to Scotland making our way into Glasgow. Glasgow is a great city and it's too bad we're just running thru without being able to hang out for a few days. My father came thru here during WWII as a merchant marine, and there are people still talking about it. I did a radio interview and they showed me an old record (vinyl) where a guy had recorded the entire 'Massacree' 30 years ago. He knew it better than I did. So tonight I have a gig at the Old Fruitmarket then off in the morning again. That's the update. Not much to tell... It just continues :)

Travel safe my Friend, A lot of my mates are patiently waiting in the "big smoke" for your show. Wish I were there with them as well.
I won't be there until November.

Yah, that fried meat and potato thing can be a challenge. In Kerry, my kids were never so happy to see a McDonald's in their young lives after a week of hotel cooking.

Enjoy!! We'll fester until you return.

By the way, we need a photo I.D., fingerprints, your mother's maiden name, the P.I.N number for your ATM card, 6 charactor witnesses, your favorite color and a urine sample. ( Send the urine sample to Dave).
Or, you can just say "Yeah, it's me".( I was trained by airport security guys....not Facebook)

Wait, I'm in charge of the missiles... not urine samples!!!

However, being creative... I wonder how much it'd go for on e-bay... Hmmm.... I'll start working on the copy...

BTW, Larry - you do realize P.I.N number is redundant, right?!

Hope your time in Scotland will be as great as your time in Ireland. Your pictures of the place in Ireland, McGrory's I think the name is, are fantastic. As all your pictures on flickr are.

And Lorie and Cheryl was both jumping up and down yelling " Kilt, Kilt, Kilt..."

Personally, I could do without the kilt, although it might make supplying the urine sample easier.
