The Folkslinger waves his hand all the time.........He's just got to pretend he's strummin' a higher-than-usual air guitar  (Just make sure you're not wearin' your fingerpicks so as not to pop one of them big balloons)!!! (Unless, of course, that's part of the "plan")

Have a good time Arlo. My kids marched in the parade a while back with their high school band and they had a real great time. I will be looking for you. Will Mrs G and the kids be with you?

Not politically incorrect, just curious since the holiday was invented by Englanders. Arlo just made it famous, or rather infamous, in the annals of American history and forever woven into our social fabric.

P.S. : Nov 25 this year

Thanksgiving is a 'movable feast" that falls on a different calendar date each year. In the US, it's the fourth Thursday of November, which means it falls anywhere from the 22nd to the 28th.

And just to confuse the issue, our Canadian neighbors celebrate Thanksgiving on the second Monday of October.

Of course, as blunderites, most of us celebrate thanksgiving 365 days a year.

It's a moveable feast/holiday because they keep trying to hide it from us, but we keep finding it anyway.
It became moveable during the Nixon years, because Nixon was pissed off that a bunch of pot smoking ,draft card burning, peace loving ,littering hippies had claimed ownership of the holiday.
This is my story and I'm stickin' to it.
