You just reminded me. As a kid my dad would open up a coconut and we'd drink the coconut milk out of it. :)

I had heard that this project was in the works. The film was taken during the "trip" Kesey, et al, took in '65(?)......was described in Thomas Wolfe's book "The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test." Can't wait to see it!

someone was telling me about water buffalo mozzarella, and i am like buffalo!...okay...and how very good it was,,,i think he said he was in italy at the time! so i don't know how any i find here will measure up to that but i am curious to try it. i got these tomatoes...of all the ones i planted the cherokee purple are my favorite. i got grapettes, pineapple tomatoes, cherokee purple and i can't remember the name of the other one...i can't find the spiky things with the names on them,,,probably the squirrels took them to clean their teeth! little bastards...

anyway...i suppose i could go with some kind of bruschetta, but i will probably throw together one of them no-cook "sauces" and toss it in with some warm pasta.

...anyway!
