I have been a big fan of folk and old acoustic blues for some time and have always loved Arlo and Woody's music. Today I was just surfing around, avoiding work and started reading up on what Arlo was up to these days. I dunno why, but I did. Forums are natural for me because I am a developer and systems administrator for a company that deals primarily in them. For that reason I think it was just plain natural for me to end up here eventually.

I am glad to see this little community is here and thriving. I have to warn you though, as much as I love many of Arlos' ideas and music, I am basically a Libertarian, so I disagree with some of his fundamentals. From what I have seen of this forum, I think I may be in the minority to say the least lol, but I have a good vibe here that everyone's opinions are respected.

Just wanted to say hi and hope to have a good time here.
