I noticed when you try to go to the view new posts it is goofed up. It shows no new posts even tho there are some. Figured you'd want to know.

The view new posts is working now so I assume the Wiz fixed it. Thanks Wiz! :)

Cheryl, I didn't do anything... Been too busy. But I did notice the other day there is an update available. I'll probably take care of that this weekend, hopefully it'll clear up any issues... I haven't looked at the update notes yet, so not sure.

Is it perhaps a cache issue? I deal with that at work all the time, seems to happen most with IE... Have I mentioned I hate IE lately?! Lol

I can say for certain that "Mark Forums Read" does not remove posts from the new posts page.. If I have read them, they shouldn't be considered new I would think.

I'll check in to it... I access the forums using Tapatalk on my phone for the most part. Tapatalk correctly marks things as read, which puzzles me a bit.

Thanks for the info. Even when you don't do things on the site, problems get cleared up magically. :)

The forum software has been updated, let me know if this fixed the issue or if there are any new problems.

I found the following info elsewhere regarding this issue:

"If you stay logged in and your session has not expired, the new topics/posts will not change, it will just keep adding new posts as they happen. try logging out and back in to see if it fixes your problem."

"View New Posts is to show the posts that are new since you've logged in. What I was looking for is View Unread Posts, which is different."

Both are under the "Options" menu at the top. BTW, sorry about the delay in checking this out...
