Ya, the 400,000 wasn't enough? You do get my blood broiling.

The best lines I've heard on abortions are these: ''if you don't like them don't have one,'' and ''no one really likes abortions.'' Its a personal choice, and is only in the Federal debate because of the modern day scribes and Pharisees.

What I'll say is, you speaking against them most sooth your conscience. I say that because you care not a lick for the quality after its been born. Or you would see how Ike felt in this partial quote, ''Every warship, missile, jet or bomb, is a theft from improving society.'' MLK had it right too, ''A nation that year after year continues to spends more on guns, bombs and wars, then ending poverty, is approaching spiritual death.'' And I'll say it again, all the anti-abortion crap, is just to sooth a conscience, over the crap destroying society, coming down from the top.-its nothing but a tangent.

Oh please, you should be happy. Before you met me, you thought 400 MILLION kids were dead, now it is less than half a million. I just saved more people than live in the US.. hahahaha..

So let's get rid of laws against murder too and just let everyone not murder... I tend to give life a little more respect than you do, that's all..

You seem to like to attribute quotes to people who never said them. Nice.

We spend more on social programs than we do on the Military.. All better sweetie?

If your innocent life is not sacred, every social program in the world is useless.

Ike said those words about every jet, warship and bomb being a theft from improving society. The point is that we have not listened to Ike's warnings, and are now enslaved to the giant military industrial complex. Its pure stupidity to spend billions on guns and bombs, and than bitch about an abortion.

Then PROVE he said it. Your word (nor mine) is good enough. Get it?

You ever hear the saying "The best defense is a good offense"?

Hey, there's shithead! About time you got back here!

Again,

I want to apologize to this turn toward petty insults that I have propagated in these discourses with Jafo. It is the world he seems to live in. If he is going to be a shithead to people like Agnes, Goofus, Kevin and Leo, well then, I don't mind being a shithead right back! I just hope you can understand where I am coming from! I know that the vast majority of people who occasionally drop in here and comment are about as nice o' bunch as you would ever want to know. I realize that people like Jafo might even keep you from commenting or expressing your views. That is a shame.

Again,
My apologies!

thank you for your many meaningful contributions heraclitis.

and you are much appreciated as well.

I don't think you're evil. You just need to quit acting like an asshole to people that haven't provoked it. I discredit most of what you say because of the unfounded comments you make to people you don't know anything about. If you are willing to stretch the truth like that, I won't trust or heed anything you say.

He might be evil just as well because he is misquoting people. Leo can hang out and say what he wants to say...it is alright by me....but evil little Jafo...don't attribute what Leo says to me!

(a new venture in the grain of salt chant when it comes to Jafo)

It is a weapon. Is any weapon moral or immoral? I believe that is reserved for the operator of said weapon.

$100 million a day for upkeep of a weapon, any sane person knows must never fall again, would be worth while to hear mentioned on Corporate owned TV. I say, ''WOE to the stumbling blocks, who cause little minds like Jafo, to start telling the little people to focus on the little people."

And I say be warned of the idiot who doesn't understand that the longest period of relative peacetime was created after the creation of nuclear arms. What we call wars today would have been footnotes 100 years ago. You can give a good deal of thanks for having weapons so fierce that the idea of war became unpalatable even to the most ardent war mongers out there.

Oh Grand Poo Bah, I don't think I said that! (Not that some of the crap you say to Leo is not absolutely ridiculous..OMG I just read what you wrote!

Ok, sorry, honest mistake, I must have kept the "quote="heraclitis"" part in my copy buffer.. Was unintentional. I usually am responding to 2-3 of you at a time so I try to quote directly with the user attribute in the quote to eliminate confusion instead of just using QUOTE.. When you parse out each part in response this can happen. Well, at least I admit when I quote somebody wrong..

i looked back at this post...maybe it is just me (but i doubt it), but if i quoted someone and unintentionally put the wrong person as having said it, once it was pointed out to me, i would go back and correct it. i would appreciate it though that someone told me, maybe red faced, or maybe just amused.

if i shouldn't have even bothered with this post, my apologies to heraclitis.
