It is legal to murder this 24 week old baby, otherwise known as "nonviable tissue"..

I think the majority of people are pro-life, but not the twisted, inconsistent, and contradictory way most anti-abortion folks use the term. I am pro-life; I am pro-choice (that DOES NOT mean I am pro-abortion); I am anti-death penalty. Anyone who is pro-death penalty CANNOT also be anti-abortion or "pro-life" unless they've got a screw loose in their brain. From what you wrote, I take it you are anti-abortion (correct me if I'm wrong). So how can you reconcile that stance with your position that we've got to get rid of government intrusion into our private lives?

Well I am against the federal death penalty for sure. But it is consistent to be both pro-life and pro-death penalty. Those who face a death penalty have not had their Constitutional right of due process infringed. An innocent child however has had no such due process.

You cannot be pro-life and pro-choice. Innocent life is not a choice of anyone else but the person themselves. If you believe it is legal for a woman to murder their child, then you are pro-choice, not pro-life.

Just as I suspected: screw loose. You can't have it both ways Slick. If you believe murder is wrong, then there can be no exceptions. Abortion is an unfortunate decision, but it a health decision, not a legal one. One's status as a human being Does Not begin at conception, anymore than saying a catapillar is a butterfly.

You believe self defense is murder?

So when a mother offs her children with a handgun, is that a health decision?

Don't know as much as I wish I did about this man. But having shot the shit, a few years ago, with a cool guy who said he was a Goldwater conservative, kept my mind's eyes open about Barry. How the last 3 decades look to me, Goldwater's fears have come true.

What's preachers in the Republican party have to do with anything? I am not a Republican or a preacher.

Leo, is it possible for you to stay on topic or are you just permanently suffering from ADD?

Is this a Church and State thread? You have the same exact kind of big-a-tree in your eyes, as the Preachers who took over DC in the 80s.

Here is my observation of you and them: over a guilty conscience, of faith in absolute bs... you try and sooth your guilt by saying, ''OH BUT I'M AGAINST ABORTION, I'M BETTER THAN THEM KILLERS.''

Can you find any more misleading graphic than that leo? Is that the best propaganda you have? Tell me, why don't you give all your money to planned parenthood instead of forcing others to give theirs? Silly socialists..

Jafo. What you closed minded idiotic morons don't understand is that we are not looking for free healthcare. We want affordable good HC, which this market has no chance of ever bringing about. The Christian Right framed the debate in the 80s. That is a core problem. For their babbling bullshit, has taken the focus off of fiat funded GUNS AND BOMBS, rather than providing butter rather than bombs. What don't you understand about Ike? Or what MLK said about a culture built on war, (paraphrased) is spiritually dead?

And you push for government meddling and regulation which does the exact opposite. If you weren't stoned all the time, you would figure that out.

Yeah, it's the Christian rights fault.. You do realize the "Christian right" pays for more healthcare than any left wing organizations do right?

I don't see many atheist hospitals out there.
