You believe self defense is murder?

So when a mother offs her children with a handgun, is that a health decision?

What DC just came up with after a year of babble was bs. I don't understand why they couldn't have combined Dennis Kucinich's plan for States to have a Public Option, (which people would pay for together, like we pay for the Police and Firemen.) with the GOP calling for Health Coops. Massatack would have been better off, had Mitt just allowed people who wanted to, to buy into Masshealth, which is a great plan for the low income.

Single Payer wouldn't even be free. Doctors such as Margaret Flowers believe we could do that with improved Medicare for all. But with all the different Health Care Systems in the Union, it sure does look very complicated to get there. There probably is no good reason, why someone with a good plan like Blue Cross or others would want to opt out.

It is perfectly clear that the Religious Right took over DC back in the 80s. When I awoke in 94, the Fruits of THE-MEDIA-RIGHTS Stone throwing had crept into my local Pool Playing Club. There was something about OJ's wife getting murdered that struck me, when I kept hearing all these friends of mine saying OJ was guilty. The 80s in Massatack had very little of that stone throwing going on. All of that his, she is guilty stuff I saw in 94, made me say this, ''I thought it was up to a jury.'' And I believe the Christian Right is mostly responsible for dividing this Union, where at one time, people got the benefit of the doubt.

He is some of Jefferson's thoughts on what he saw in his times:

Millions of innocent men, women and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burnt, tortured, fined and imprisoned; yet we have not advanced one inch towards uniformity.-Thomas Jefferson, Notes on Virginia, 1782

I concur with you strictly in your opinion of the comparative merits of atheism and demonism, and really see nothing but the latter in the being worshipped by many who think themselves Christians.-Thomas Jefferson, letter to Richard Price, Jan. 8, 1789 (Richard Price had written to TJ on Oct. 26. about the harm done by religion and wrote "Would not Society be better without Such religions? Is Atheism less pernicious than Demonism?")

''Christianity neither is, nor ever was a part of the common law.''-Thomas Jefferson, letter to Dr. Thomas Cooper, February 10, 1814

''And the day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus, by the supreme being as his father in the womb of a virgin will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerve in the brain of Jupiter. But may we hope that the dawn of reason and freedom of thought in these United States will do away with this artificial scaffolding, and restore to us the primitive and genuine doctrines of this most venerated reformer of human errors.''-Thomas Jefferson, Letter to John Adams, April 11, 1823

"The purpose of separation of church and state is to keep forever from these shores the ceaseless strife that has soaked the soil of Europe in blood for centuries." – James Madison

"The clergy, by getting themselves established by law and ingrafted into the machine of government, have been a very formidable engine against the civil and religious rights of man." – Thomas Jefferson

''Even Tea Party People cans we we have become just what the Founding Patriots risked all to revolt against.''-mcd

Is not this a Church and State thread? Its very easy for any aware person to see, that the Religious Right took control of the debate in DC, back in the 80s, and are the same kind of people who scared the hell out of Madison, Jefferson, and more recently Barry Goldwater.

Well, every time you insult me, I will throw it back even harder. So keep it up, it will get worse.

Besides Heraclitis, you already said that you "like to molest young children" remember?

Talk about timing:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/healt ... s-say.html

Quote:
Killing babies no different from abortion, experts say

Parents should be allowed to have their newborn babies killed because they are “morally irrelevant” and ending their lives is no different to abortion, a group of medical ethicists linked to Oxford University has argued.

The article, published in the Journal of Medical Ethics, says newborn babies are not “actual persons” and do not have a “moral right to life”. The academics also argue that parents should be able to have their baby killed if it turns out to be disabled when it is born.

The journal’s editor, Prof Julian Savulescu, director of the Oxford Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics, said the article's authors had received death threats since publishing the article. He said those who made abusive and threatening posts about the study were “fanatics opposed to the very values of a liberal society”.

The article, entitled “After-birth abortion: Why should the baby live?”, was written by two of Prof Savulescu’s former associates, Alberto Giubilini and Francesca Minerva.

They argued: “The moral status of an infant is equivalent to that of a fetus in the sense that both lack those properties that justify the attribution of a right to life to an individual.”

Rather than being “actual persons”, newborns were “potential persons”. They explained: “Both a fetus and a newborn certainly are human beings and potential persons, but neither is a ‘person’ in the sense of ‘subject of a moral right to life’.

Gee, if only Americans could be MORE European....

Way to dodge the last point: the left wants to kill babies that are already BORN. Sick!
