sakes alive! (that was actually pretty cute)

well, when i was watching the rosanne video over there, i imagined a lot of people would be touched by it in different ways. a very nice tribute. my mind wandered off to a few people, three of whom i just lost over the past year-year and a half who were very near and dear to me. it seemed so out of the blue. even though i am here pretty regularly i never mentioned it...never even let on. i don't know why, other people seem to know better how to do that. i just do what i do. but since we are here getting down to the nitty gritty, with songs and heart strings,,,it was pretty awful...it is a blur...it just seemed crazy...it all ran together. there was hardly a chance to process any of it, while it was fully on your mind. and they meant a lot. (sorry i don't get more specific, i just don't want to...i don't know what that is...another thing that makes me strange i guess) one of those who passed, passed just toward the end of last year. i mean i think of this, i remember on an occasion one day i pretty much went off on him about something he was saying (a very strange dynamic that) (but not so much about him personally) and not that i was yelling, but i had some pretty strong words, anyway i went off pretty good and when all was said, i stopped and looked at him and said, "you probably hate me now" and i was pretty sure he did, and all that came out of him was, "never" and he proved it all the time. heck not that long ago, and not that there were many of these outbursts you see, only a couple :), but among a group of people, having one of them controversial discussions, i gave him that look again about something i'd just said, and he says something like, "sometimes we all just need to say stuff." i mean, you see what i mean?
and hardly a week after my mom passed (i know a lot of folks here already know about that having happened), i was at a sports event as score keeper (hangin out ya know, they can be a crazy bunch) and messing up quite a bit, which was not at all typical, and at some point they are all kind of looking at me like what is up with that!? at the end of it i apologized for the blunders and never did explain about my mom (they did eventually find out)...but i couldn't. they would have understood. i just couldn't. it would have been the waterworks and i just didn't want to deal with that. i would rather they think i was being a bit of a flake

well anyway...enough about that! and my apologies

carry on
