April 17, 2017 - Arcata, CA - Humbolt University

We've been on the road for a while now, and we're about half-way thru this final leg of the "Running Down The Road" tour. As we've been moving across the country our crew back home has quietly been working hard to release our new web-site. For the moment there's actually two sites running - risingsonrecords.com and arloguthrie.com. Three is you include arlo.net. - arloguthrie.com will bring you to the new site, whereas formally it simply linked to the RSR site. The good news is that arlo.net is continuing to run just fine on the new site under "Archives." At some point we will have RSR link to the newer site, but for the moment they exist equally in time and space, sharing some things in common. Hope everyone is as excited as I am about all this stuff... :)

I wondered what was going on with all of that. You hurt my head. I'll have to read it a few times to get it! :-)

If you type "www.arloguthrie.com" it goes to the new website. If you type in "www.risingsonrecords.com" it goes to the old site.

Don't know about FaceBook, but it's good to be back and we're getting it together here. :)

We're still tweaking the site, but it's coming along! You may not even notice the fixes/changes but they're there. Tonight we begin the last leg of the current tour. Starting in Galveston, TX and ending in Nashville, TN before coming back up north for some shows at the church - Our semi annual fund raisers to keep everything going. :)

When I was in high school, I found a little cat and nursed him back to health. I named him Arlo Guthrie. I played Alice's Restaurant for him as often as I could. I owned the record and a cassette player, so I had my friend's dad record the song from my record to the cassette player. In Kitty Heaven, I'm pretty sure Arlo Guthrie is the cat's pajamas.

Here we go! ReGeneration hits the streets! We'll be doing this until May 2018... Might even be good by then :)
