Once upon a time, long long ago, there lived a race of mixed trait bipeds. Some of them were kind, some were nasty, some were criminal, some, holy; many just ordinary folks, a mixture of good and bad, with the good prevailing most of the time. A few of the Nasty Criminal types had been for many decades trying to breed the superior bipedal form, or Human Being, as they were called. Nasty Criminals wanted strong albino, ruthless, pragmatic bipeds; these would "improve the race" (:pukeImage and give them power over the whole world. They not only had the best scientific minds at their disposal, the strongest athletes, but also professional Necrophiliacs, bipeds who had successfully harnessed the Dark Powers for their own evil ends. Even when those ends seemed to be positive, e.g. a spell to MAKE her love me,...etc. The seeming was just that, because their self-centered ends all contributed the the evil that oozed out of the Dark Presence.

But, as one might suspect, dabbling in radiation, dark forces and superbipeds, the procedures got out of hand. Someone thought that if a little is good, more is better, and turned up the dials on their Genetic Daemon Electron Alternizer, and overloaded the circuits. Big Bang is a pallid euphemism for the violent, radiant disintegration that resulted from the More is Better bumbling.
It is perhaps the only case in bipedal history of 3 wrongs smashed together to create a right.

Dark Powers had misused the alternative bipedal images of faeries, elves, kobolds, and trolls. Painted in an unflattering light, these beings were nevertheless the images of bipedalism that the Dark Powers most liked. The backfiring of evil intentions burned the evil bipeds in their tracks, and any progeny with the same evil pragmatic dark intentions spontaneously combusted upon reaching puberty. At least 2 generations of beings were trouble with these surprise explosions.

When the wavicle and psychic vibrations had settled, another 3 generations had passed, and with the science equipment that had somehow (?) escaped destruction, the new bipedal forms were able to ascertain that all the old diseases had been erradicated and the antibodies existing in the new beings (faeries, elves, kobolds and trolls) would keep them from any biological harm, making everyform left on the enviroplace healthily (immunilogically) invincible.

Another effect of the backfire of evil was that previously despoiled lands, by coal mining, potato viruses, pollution, by any and all of the ancient poisons, the damage had been erradicated and the new enviroplace was referred to as the New Eden, as pertaining to an ancient myth that the original Eden was something like this.

Another ancient myth, concerning a mysterious Being called the Wandering Folksinger, would come and bless these enviroplaces that were currently rebuilding.

Because of the mysteriously undestroyed (?) lab equipment, negatives escaped, although these were greatly modified and reduced negatives, due to the Great Backfire.

The animals and birds remained virtually untouched from the Backfire, as they carried no evil of their own origin. Other protoypes of quadrupeds, (dragons, chimerae, etc) appeared, again, as misused images of positive beings by the Dark Powers.

Gwenlili has returned from an extended education forum to an empty holt. She goes in search of her friends, who are not far away. Image

If it takes one biped to ride a bicycle, and it takes two bipeds to ride a bicycle built for two, how many bipeds does it take to ride a tricycle with training wheels?

"immunologically invincible" applies to bipeds quadrupeds, birds, snakes, trikes with training wheels. Viruses are stamped out.

Edited (twice) for spelling.

Also, obnoxious bacteria stamped out... that is, bacteria harmful to bipedal health.

The two old buddies were sitting in a lucious old oak tree swapping dream stories when they saw Gwenlili walking through the gardens.
Delighted to see her again, they waved and called out to her. Both scrambled quickly out of the tree and ran to welcome their friend home.

Gwenlili joyously greeted her old buddies with hugs and kisses galore, fluttering with happiness. Their names were Hialee and Chalici.

Gwenlili, Hialee and Chalici began to dance. They fluttered in circles through the branches between dustmotes, chasing the sunlight dappling the wood.

What a happy day this was!
The three decided they must plan a special celebration for the next evening. They would gather all the best food that nature had to offer, sing the most wonderful songs and dance all through the night!

They danced and danced through the night! cola nectar, champagne ambrosia, and the lightest, most delicate cakes and fruits delighted them for the whole night. They were regaled with music that was tender, yet sometimes hard, always appealing to the inhabitants of Zephyrus
