Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Due to the great demand for this concert (or any concert), and the fact that it was not offered to radio stations this year, the Alice's Restaurant - America's OTHER Thanksgiving Tradition radio concert is being presented here! Due to the size though, this will likely only be available through December 1, 1999.

The concert is being offered in two different formats - Real Audio and MP3. The Real Audio streaming version is offered in 2 different formats, one optimized for slower 28.8k modems, and another for the faster 56k modems. The one for the 56k modems has better quality audio. The Real Audio version presented for download is the one with better quality (doesn't matter what speed your modem is since you will be playing back the files from your hard drive). The streaming versions of the Real Audio concert will play while downloading, so there is no need to download it before you can listen to it.

The MP3 version is CD QUALITY audio (as good as the original CD that was sent out to the radio stations)...but requires you to download it first...and it is fairly large in size!

Both versions require a special player. To listen to the Real Audio version you need Real Player. If you have a fast connection (or are extremely patient) and choose the MP3 version you'll need any MP3 player. For Macintosh computers, you can use the Quicktime Player if you have Quicktime 4 installed (most newer systems do - if not click the link to download it). If you have a PC, you'll need some sort of MP3 player installed such as WinAMP.
