We here in VA have a hurricane watch. Even tho we're not on the ooast they say we will get high winds & lots of rain Thurs. So wish us here in VA & the hurricane areas all luck...

Good morning Wyldflower and welcome to Sixstrings. Joining Wyld in wishing well to all in the path of the storm (have a sister-in-law and niece in NC, too). Stay safe!

~~~Waves~~~ to SparkyDon, Judy and SixString!
It's a beautiful, crisp fall day, here in Albany NY... but anticipating whatever is leftover from Isabel tomorrow.
I'm still sending blundervibes to Kitty and all others in the area where the storm is hitting right now.
~~~Waves~~~ back to Ceashel (give jay a hug for me!) and to SixString!

It's a windy, rainy day here... the remnants of Isabel are coming through. Hope all is well with Kitty and Emmy. It may be a little while before we hear from them, due to power outages, so blundervibes continue in that direction.

~~~WAVES (arm waves--not ocean waves)~~~ to all.
Even Michigan got touched by Isabel on her way to Canada ... rain in the eastern half of the state. We were able to see the cloud bands (really quite pretty--looked like swirly contrails). No rain as yet (we've got storms coming from both sides).
Heard on the news they may let residents back in this afternoon--hope Kitty isn't washed away. Looked pretty devastating on the news this morning.
Belated ~~waves~~ to you, SparkyDon! We had 'sympathy rain' on Thursday, but yesterday it was bright, sunny, and cooler than in Housatonic!!!. I think that's an historical first. (At least, for the last couple of years.)
