Hello Larry, No problem but apparently I have senior or should I say over forty moments too.. Anyhow, I think what I had said was that I was describing how the first song that I played I just king of looked at my guitar for fear of making mistakes and that on the second song I remembered that I was always instructed to look at the audience and when I had the nervousness set in. So I tried the old adage of trying to picture everyone in their underwear but that proved to be not so funny but I made it through OK. Cheryl was also telling me what she played for instruments, and she knows many, and I had told her that I currently play the guitar and harmonica. I am hoping to at some point learn how to play the mandolin and banjo.

I MC'd a show once, and tried to use that"picture the audience in their underwear" trick. It was working fine until I noticed some folks in the audience were not wearing any underwear. I found that very distracting, and in some cases rather disturbing.

Talked to Jaane Doe on the phone and maybe things got worked out. Definitely call the church before driving! kurt...

My wife likes to say that at my age, it's still "selective memory loss...as well as hearing"? The way I figure it a few more years I will be hitting 50 and we will see what she says then. I will tell you one thing. With two of my girls in college and my youngest just getting his drivers license it's all pushing me towards the dirt real fast.

well, at 5pm I got the call that there WAS a Hoot after all so I put some of the supper between two pieces of bread and hauled northeast. Some traffic that tried my patience extremely close to the breaking point at the edge of Poughkeepsie and then twenty minutes instead of the normal five to get through Pleasant Valley (not tonight it wasn't). Then as I go into the little hall to retrieve my banjo, I get tangled up in guitar cases and fall so hard the handvac in the laundry room starts running. No instruments (beside me) are banged up fortunately although I busted a hasp off a clamp on Aziim's case somehow. The coffee and the music were fine. kurt...

Hmmmm. Last week, I had t go to work early and didn't post. Lots of people came and everyone had a good time. Motorcycle George even sat in on guitar for a couple of my songs (we'll get him on stage yet).
