I just wanted to say thank you for all the blunder vibes that were sent my way - I'm quite positive now that they definitely do work (not that there was doubt mind you)! I got tickets for the Oct. 12th show (my 25th birthday too) at the church and am asking my dad to join me in the trip. He's never been to MA either and I'm hoping he says yes. Anyways, I just wanted to thank you all for the kind words and thoughts you've sent to me. You are really a great group of people.

Wyld, I'm really glad to hear things are going better for you. On "More Together..." Arlo says something about a great way to make the world a better place is to feel good about yourself even when you don't really want to (or something similar to that) and I just thought that might be relevant here.

Thanks again

Oh, I hope he says yes, too. He'll love it and it'd be a great way to spend some time together. Even if he doesn't, though, you go and just soak in the vibes. It's a great place for that.

Hope your dad decides to come with you, Ters. Sometimes all it takes is being away from all the "triggers" when you're trying to mend a relationship.

Wyld, sounds like you're regaining your equilibrium. Funny how no matter how old we get, we still have to remind ourselves that we are not merely the sum of others' perceptions. BTW, thanks for the Sanskrit Proverb--been bouncing between it Pat's despair.com site.

Yes, I've more or less regained my equilibrium... without the librium LOL...

But now, my equilibrium has a new fulcrum on which to balance. I went through a lot over the last couple of weeks... no make that months... things started getting out of hand back in March. But now I feel stronger, and more centered, and I know who I am without having to look at the warped mirror that some people were holding up for me.

All of you folks helped me to learn more about myself, and I thank you for it...

And Pam, you're welcome... part of that Sanskrit proverb has been bouncing around my brain for a long time... but I'm glad that I finally looked it up, and found the full quote. It really does say a lot, doesn't it!

I love all of you "sane" people!

Larry...

Compared to some of the other people <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/reddevil.gif" width=16 height=16> I have been dealing with lately, YOU are one of the "sane" people... <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/looney.gif" width=15 height=15>

Scary thought, isn't it!

That's why I have to put "sane" in quotation marks! At least this brand of insanity is not harmful to my self-confidence.

Love you all, sane or not!

Cool! Is your lawyer male, single, hetero, between 45 & 55, and "sane"?

Why no. My lawyer happens to be an 86 year old gay transexual whose office is in Belvue.
