Cheryl, I'm glad you're having fun in Durham and am very surprised you didn't already have a motel room booked before you left home. I'm not that brave. I book as soon as I even consider going anywhere, knowing I can cancel up to 4 PM same day as reservation.

Hi, Sparky!

We never get a room in advance cuz we never know where the motels are & if we got one we'd probably get lost trying to find it after a gig LOL!

I told Arlo we are going to Nags Head today & he thought he was supposed to go to Nags Head today. I told him no it's me going there & not you. So if he doesn't show up in Charlotte tonight, then he's probably in Nags Head... Have a good day kids!

Yesterday I saw something here at Nags Head that made me wonder if I was going nuts. I swear I saw a deer on the beach. I was driving down the main beach road & saw on the right side of the road (the non-beach side) what looked like a deer. He was standing so straight & erect that at first I thought it was a statue of one as they have down here some statues of horses & winged Pegauses. The deer moved it's head & then I knew it was real. I thought i was going nuts, a deer at the beach? After I passed him he went & crossed the road over to the beach side causing the car behind me to have to put on brakes & sopt. I could see him in the rear view mirror. It was a doe, no antlers& pretty too. I wanted to pull over & get a pic but no where safe to pull off. We were headed to Sonic to pick up a few burgers so we went there to get the burgers & then rode back to try to find the deer & photograph him but we never did find him.

I had earlier seen some neat stuff-- a british mini cooper, an antique Ford truck from the 40's or 50's & a red bus like Arlos old Big Red. When we saw the bus interestingly, the song playing on the radio was an old Doobie Brothers song that Arlo was playing the autoharps on. But a deer at the beach? I think I saw something rare LOL!

Ok,so the prescribed opiates helped with the pain, but the rest of the body hated em
So today we,ll try to go with just tylenol and other preferred meds

Tee-hee ... rain in Texas, sunshine in Michigan ... go figure!! Actually, now would be a good time for a little rain on the garden.

Well I,m able to sit some again ,been to Dr.s and hospital a couple times and waiting to go see the "knife man" (surgeon) again.LOL refferring doc said he,d "put push on" LOL,that means I should get a call in about 8 months to tell me I have a appointment early next year for the consult.
Was able to get up to Parliament hill on the weekend for the protest, not a bad turnout for Ottawa 2-3 thousand people
