Depends on the week lol But at the top of my list is always Arlo (duh), Dylan...ya know, all the 60's and 70's folk singer songwriters.
Also, I really like Dwight Yoakum and if you haven't heard John Hiatt, you really should give him a listen. Of course there are lots more, but like the Captain said...I'd be here for a couple of days.

Guess I'm old school cuz I don't have an Ipod yet. Don't have a high speed internet connection as it's not available here yet & I can't afford the downloads from I Tunes anyway. I still have all my old 8-tracks lol.

I'd say John Travolta is soft rock. His biggest his was Let Her In & some of his other hits were Whenever I'm Away From You a remake of Nino Tempo & April Stevens All Strung Out On You plus the stuff he did in Grease like You're The One That I Want and Summer Nights which he did both with Olivia Newton John. Sadly he doesn't seem to sing anymore but I thought he did pretty good back in the day...

Bob,Joan,kd, the 2 Janis's, Judy, Emmylou, Carly, James, Neil, Joni, Savage Garden, Crowded House, the Bare Naked Men, Andrews Sisters,Rod McKuen, Hank Williams, Patsy, Native American,Carol K, Bonnie R, Paul Simon, The Band, Jennifer Warnes (The Hunter CD), lots of new stuff and many more plus all the stuff my folks played all thru my childhood like Gene Autry, lots of other Cowboy and Cowgirl stuff,all the musicals of Gilbert and Sullivan and Rogers and Hammerstein, Camelot, My Fair Lady, Flower Drum Song, South Pacific, The King and I etc etc etc,Sousa, lots of Latin Stuff, Tony Bennett, and on and on

Oh and the Slinger and his Dad of course, they are way at the top of my list.

I don't have an Ipod but I just got Broadband and it's great!

Cheryl, I filled my iPod with CD's I own...you don't have to only buy stuff from iTunes ! And with my mini disc recorder, I can (and have) digitized cassette tapes and vinyl records and loaded them onto the computer as well, for a final destination on my iPod.

Oh and the Ipod thing...I don't have one either. I still use a cd walkman. Gasp! I figure I'm due to buy an Ipod next yea. It took me until 1998 to break down and buy a cd player so I guess one new technology music player every 10 years won't overload me heheh

Did you know Jeff Daniels has is also a musician? He was emcee at the Ann Arbor folk festival this year, out there with his guitar. Mostly he talked his songs, they were pretty funny.

I only have an iPod because my kids decided I needed one...it was a mother's day/birthday gift in May. I didn't think I needed one, but I'm enjoying it!

I never did get into Leif Garrett lol. For some reason my friends & I never thought of him as cute. If we were gonna fall madly in love with someone, he had to be cute too as well as talented. So this is proof that Arlo is cute...
