Way belated good morning (or very early good morning) to one and all ... just had to post to ask Sparky where the hell (well, not there--that would be warm) do you live? Thought you were in Canada, not in the Arctic Circle!! Brrrrrr. That's instant frostbite weather--Hot chocolate and((((((((Warm Hugs)))))))) all around!

It was supposed to be around -30 (wind chill), daughter's skiing tonight with her high school ski club. I'm in my warm (well, sorta warm) house, hot chocolate, ready to take a long hot soaking bath.

Corey just called to say it's nowhere near as cold as they expected (probably close to 10 degrees!) and she's having a great time. Fell, on her face... literally... but she's loving this ski trip.

More power to her... a hot tub awaits!

If SparkyDon lived in the Arctic Circle, he'd be warmer! Have you seen the pix of the melt that's going on up there? Big ol' rivers running through the formerly solid ice pack! True, Ceas ... forgot about the global warming thing. Does that mean an "arctic blast" will be good news 'cause it'll be warmer air than here? Jeez.

If this doesn't make any sense, remember that exposure to so much cold starts affecting the brain cell ... not that I have control of it anyway. Think it's frozen out east somewhere.

Actually, global warming and global freezing are cyclical normal phenomenon. It happened before the industrial revolution and will happen again, even with extremely strict epa regulations being followed.

Global warming will also make Europe colder, due to changes in ocean currents, among other things -- although it's also true that major geological cycles will override nearly anything we puny mortals can throw at Mama Terra. I'd still like to know what's going on with that chunk of ice the size of India that broke off of Antartica a few years ago, though. Whither doth she blow?

Hmmmn. A very happy Sunday to y'all. I hear it's going all the way up to 30 degrees in Boston today. Wow! A veritable heat wave! Balminesses!

BRRRRR!!!!! I've tried to talk myself into feeling warm (since we're probably still warmer than Sparkydon), but it ain't working. It's colder than a well digger's butt and more snow is on the way (expecting another blizzard this afternoon). {{{{{{{Group hug}}}}}}}} and warm thoughts (typed with cold fingers).
