Here it is, a year (almost) later...time to be thinkin' about getting to the church on time again! Looking forward to Wyld's Baker to Blunderites special and Sherry's hugs and everybody's just being there...all kinds of magical things. Yippeee!!!! It's less than a month away!

One month from this Sunday.I am on the edge of my seat in anticipation.Blundervibes please,to assure that my health holds out,and I am able to defeat the cancer.Some good news from my last CT Scan was reassuring that chemo is doing it's job.
It'll be great to finally see the Old Trinity Church in person,and especially to meet some of the big extended family.

I'm sooooo glad that you're coming for Sunday, because Sunday is Tailgate Party Day! Yes, do come early! Blunderites will probably start gathering in the parking area by the railroad tracks by around noontime... so come whenever you are able! Larry is usually the "coordinator" of the tailgate... only because he brings the canopies, I think... (or was that a can of peas?)

If you want to bring a potluck dish to share that would be cool, but it's not a requirement... I'll be bringing some kind of baked goods... not sure what theme I'll use this year. I made tie-dye tee shirt cookies once, and did cinnamon double helix rolls last year. Themes seem to pop up on the message board, so we'll see what happens.

Can't wait!! We have all our plans in place, and we're set to go. I wish we lived closer, cause then I could bake something to bring, but since we are leaving Ohio on Friday, that probably won't work. Let me know what sorts of things you need that I can pick up at a local store--cups, plates, etc? I'll be bringing the quilt--it's shaping up quite nicely. Wyld, I hope you'll like what I did with the fabric you sent, and Bobbi--the Church block is coming along wonderfully, flowers and all!

We're leaving Thursday, staying overnight inb Newburgh, NY visiting with some of the folks I used to work with on AOL.

Heading into MA on Friday, have tickets for Friday night's show.

Still need 1 ticket for Saturday night. Anyone?

I don't know what time we'll have to leave on Sunday, but may be able to convince hubby to at least drop by the tailgate party for a half-hour or so.

I'm getting realy excided now, not far at all. I was going to bring something very English to share with you all at this tailgate party, but apparantly I'm not allowed to bring any king of food and drink into the country. I can understand not allowing things like meat and the like, but Alan's Son had his gift of a box of Chocolates mutilated by customs before he had to throw them away. The reason, I was told is because America can't afford to be infultrated by foreign chocolate and confectionary!!! ( all jibs about it being ok for America, America as in 'Corparation' infultrating the rest of the world with McD, I shall refrain from going on about.) Though it does mean I can't bring a big box of Thorntons Chocolates and a big bag of Uncle Joes Mint Balls with me. ( Alans just said it would be a good experiment to see if I can take a Big Mac in with me <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/laugh.gif" width=15 height=15> )
However I will try my best to bring something to share.

I have promised to be good and not be arrested for Civil disobediance, So forgive me if I seem a little reserved. Such is my promise I am taking my CND and end the occupation of IRAQ bagdes off my bag while I'm coming through the airport, which makes me feel very cowardly, but I'd sooner spend my week getting to know you lot rather than customs.

I'll give you all warning to make sure your flies are all done up and all food removed from teeth, as I am bringing plenty of Cameras with me, I'm not really one for taking lots of pictures but I doubt I'll be able to come again for some time.

Is everyone still bringing something for the Centers wish list, I have mine all ready, I've noticed that the list hasn't been updated for a while so I don't know if I have anything else I could bring they might find of use.

Countdown is on ... and home folks are getting sick and tired of listening to me count the days (just wait until I come BACK ... lol).

Looking forward to meeting everyone who can come, to seeing old friends, and to the concerts (I have tickets for all 3 nights).

I'm bringing John's homemade hot sauce and pickles (dill and bread and butter) for the tailgate. Had thought of bringing office supplies, but changed my mind and am bringing kitchen stuff (like Watkins pepper, cinnamon and vanilla) for all the folks who cook and bake (like Wyldflower).

Beverly ... don't worry! There's always plenty of food at this kind of do. And by all means take off the badges, etc., off the bags and just GET HERE.

QUILTS! Can't wait to see BOTH quilts--the one from last year AND the one you're bringing this year.
