Blunervibes on the way, on this very day. May your day, be so blessed, and I guess you know all the rest.....

Continue on your journey, and things will work out fine. Not going to say it will be easy, but you have so many good folks on your side.

Your continued thoughts, are in mine. aka: thinking of you!!!

I'll be in touch with my higher power..... So I'll put in some good words....

* Wyld please take note, unlike George Bush, God doesn't talk to me directly.... He just listens, and I have faith that he does...

Enjoy the wk end. & don't stress. I know you, and your strong, in spirit and in mind....

Your great friend/Rob :)

Thanks again everyone, for the blundervibes! They're coming to me from all around the world... I'm hoping that they make brief stops wherever they are needed along the way!

My first appointment with the surgeon was changed... I'll be meeting her on Monday, instead of having to wait until Thursday. I was kinda putting off writing out my list of questions for her, so I guess this weekend I'll be doing my homework! (can I get an extension on this assignment? ... no? ooohh.. okay....)

I'm glad you don't have to wait till Thursday! I hope you like your surgeon. My surgeon, when I was in the same situation as you, was wonderful. I'm sending lots of vibes!

Thanks again to everyone!!!

I just wanted to say that, although I am feeling very positive about this, I know that not all cases have a happy ending. It's important for you out there to be aware, and make sure you get yourselves checked out regularly. Some people don't bother to get tested, others find the beginnings of a problem and then ignore it, hoping it will 'go away'... I'm one who had not been regular about my checkups... but fortunately, it was still found relatively early, and the prognosis is excellent, since I acknowledge that it won't just 'go away'.

If you know of anyone who is (or was) not as fortunate as me, I send healing vibes to them - or heart-healing vibes to you, if they have passed. It's important to have the whole story out there... different scenarios... I KNOW that I'm going to beat this. But sometimes a sad story is necessary, to help us all keep in touch with reality.

Hey... have I told you lately how much I love you? Well I do... very much!!!

Ditto what Wyld said. Make sure you get checked regularly, everybody. If things look good one year, that's no excuse to skip getting checked the next. I had a lump which everyone thought was just fine and perfectly normal for three years, until they noticed a change. It turned out to be cancer. So make sure you take charge of your health, so you can catch any problems early, when they're most treatable, like Wyld (and me). I'm doing great 7 1/2 years down the road, and I'm sure Wyld is gonna do great, too.

Next hurdle is the surgery itself. I met my surgeon today... a forty-year-old mother of twin babies... nice to have something in common with the doc! (I'm a mom of twins too - though mine are almost the doc's age!)

She confirmed that a lumpectomy would be an appropriate procedure, so that's the route we're going. She put me on her calendar for next week Tuesday (the 26th). Dr. P was great about explaining everything. I went in with a list of questions, and there was only one that she didn't have answered before I looked at the list. (and she answered that right away.)

It will be out-patient surgery, and will take about an hour and a half. I'm scheduled for mid-afternoon. My daughter will be there with me, and will stay at my place that night. (what? overnight guest? I'm in a tiny studio... gotta make room for the air mattress! LOL) I'd go back to her place, but it will be much quieter at mine.

Love n Hugs!
~Wyld
