And you're a good sound man! Did you run sound for Geoff Kaufman, too? He was very impressed by whoever did the sound at your coffeehouse when he was there.

Oh, back to topic, if you're into sea chanties (I'm not necessarily, although I've been known to sing along at times. I mostly just photograph the people who sing them), Geoff is your man!

Well, mostly Bruce Cockburn... He's got a few vids on YouTube you can look up. A great Canadian singer/songwriter.

When I'm lazy, I just turn on the oldies station on the radio. Gimme those 60's & 70's hits any day....

I read something Arlo said years ago about supporting local live music and I really have tried to do that, much to my benefit.
I like the new music, it gives me hope that someone is paying attention.
Anyways last year a couple of kids played at Woody they were the Dedringers, they got a standing ovation, acoustic then not so much nowadays but I still love them, they are always evolving. Sidehill Gougers are good too.
Then at Kerrville this year I heard a really talented kid who is barely 16, he will be famous- listen on myspace- its free to hear his songs
